Hairy Ear Prints was born from a simple idea: to share what we love with others through art. After years of practicing and exploring our creative voice, we began designing in 2017 with a clear focus—celebrating strong women, honoring our deep love for dogs, and capturing the spirit of San Francisco, the city we call home.

At the heart of Hairy Ear Prints is a desire to connect. Our work reflects the things that inspire us daily—from the quiet strength of women to the joyful, loyal presence of dogs (including our own, featured in our logo), to the iconic landscapes and culture of San Francisco.

Each design begins as a hand-drawn pen-and-ink illustration. From there, we carefully translate these drawings into printed pieces, produced in small, custom batches. Every product is hand-printed using locally sourced materials and non-toxic, water-based inks—honoring both craftsmanship and sustainability.

We are also proud to support nonprofit organizations that reflect our mission. Ten percent of the revenue from our products is donated to Golden Gate National Park Conservancy, Girls, Inc., and SPCA—helping protect natural spaces, empower girls, and care for animals.

Hairy Ear Prints Studio is more than a print shop—it is our way of celebrating what matters, sharing stories through design, and contributing, in our own way, to the creative fabric of our city.
